Boon Art Bike Tour
Friday 5th February - 5.30pm - Hamilton CBD
Saturday 20th February - 2.30pm - Hamilton East
Kirikiriroa is full of beautiful murals thanks to the Boon Street Art Festival! We're running two group rides to appreciate the art we have around our city.
Friday 5th February we'll be touring the sites around the Hamilton CBD, and Saturday 20th February we'll be checking out the murals around Hamilton East!
Both our rides will be at a leisurely pace, children are welcome although we recommend on a cargo bike or bike trailer just due to the distance and that it'll be city riding.
We have limited numbers for this event so please make sure that you RSVP for the Boon Art Bike Tour via our Google Form!
Wednesday 10th February - 7am-9am - Garden Place
We're celebrating all our commuter cyclists - so swing past our stall in Garden Place with your bike to get some free food between 7am and 9am.
There are also bonus spot prizes up for grabs if you post a photo at the event on Instagram with the hashtag #BikeMonth2021
Our event is supported by Hamilton City Council and Kaivolution.

Hamilton's Transport Future
Thursday 11th February - 5.30pm - The Long Room, Wintec
Come along and hear about what's going on in the city and what our city could look like in the future.
We'll have an update from Hamilton City Council about Eastern Pathways, the Biking and Micro-Mobility Plan and other biking related projects they have going on in the city.
We'll also have some speakers talking about different visions for what a low-carbon, accessible, future-focused city looks like.
Picnic at the Gardens
Saturday 14th February - 4pm - Hamilton Gardens
Come along to Gourmet in the Gardens and hang out with other cyclists, eat some kai, and enjoy summer in the city!
We're hosting a meet-up - everyone who uses a bike is welcome! (cycling there is not compulsory). You're even welcome to bring your Valentine's date - what could be more romantic than cycling...
The food trucks at Gourmet in the Gardens often sell out so we recommend getting there early - we'll have our flag out so will be easy to spot!
Motherload Film Screening - CANCELLED
Tuesday 16th February - 7pm - The Long Room, Wintec
With the recent changes in Covid Alert Levels we are taking a cautious approach and cancelling this event. All our future events are still planned to run, subject further updates in Alert Levels.
Getting Heard & Getting Help
Thursday 25th February - 5.30pm - The Long Room, Wintec
Regardless of how responsible we are, accidents happen and issues arise. We'll be outlining how to report an incident to the right authorities, make sure your complaint gets actioned effectively, and ways that you can get involved to improve our infrastructure to make cycling safer and more accessible.
Cargo Bike Display
Sunday 28th February - 10am - Claudelands Park
We'll be at Love Your Bike Day this year with a cargo bike display ranging from bike trailers, longtails, e-cargo bikes, Christianias, commercially used bikes, and homemade ones!
In addition to this, we'll also be offering free bike valet for anyone at Love Your Bike Day, and have our Ungap the Map project available for people to add to!
